About the F. W. Olin Library
Northeastern University Oakland students and faculty have expanded resources to aid them in their academic research. The F. W. Olin Library, in conjunction with the Northeastern Library system, offers in-person and online research support and resources.
F. W. Olin Library
The F. W. Olin Library is an intellectual center of Northeastern University Oakland and a focal point for academic research, a repository for information, and a gateway to other research collections.
The library supports student success through information literacy instruction and research help. We house materials supporting the curriculum with emphasis on literature, music, dance, gender, sexuality, and ethnic studies. We also have robust leisure collections including popular fiction, comics, and magazines. Library materials can be accessed in person or remotely via the library’s catalog and electronic databases.
The library is also home to the Special Collections in the Heller Rare Book Room. The collections include printed books, archives, and manuscripts from the 15th century to the present including the Mills College archive.
