Online Access

Northeastern University Alumni can access selected library resources with a Northeastern alumni account.

Your login and password for the library remain the same as your student account.

Should you have any difficulty in accessing your account, you can try to reset your Northeastern password. If you experience any issues with your credentials, or the self-service tools, please reach out to the Northeastern ITS Customer Experience team at 617-373-4357 or [email protected].

In-Person Library Access – Boston

Beginning September 9, 2024, Snell Library is pleased to welcome Northeastern Alumni back to Snell Library until 15 minutes before the end of Library service desk hours.

Visiting alumni will need a valid Alumni Husky Card to enter Snell Library. Alumni ID cards are available free of charge from the Registrar’s Office at 4 Speare Hall Commons. Check hours and locations for Husky Card Services before planning your visit.

We recommend completing the Library Privileges Request Form in advance of your visit to Snell Library so that Library staff can update your account in order for you to borrow materials. Learn more about alumni borrowing privileges on the Borrowing from Snell Library page.

In-Person Library Access – Oakland

Mills College and Northeastern University alums are welcome to use the F. W. Olin Library. You must present your Mills student ID, Alumnae Association of Mills College (AAMC) membership card, Husky card, or Northeastern University Alumni Association membership card in order to check out materials. All alums who have not used the F. W. Olin Library since June 2022 will need to provide a photo ID with their association membership card to register or re-register with library staff in order to set up their library account before borrowing materials.

Alums and guests may also access the internet and the library catalog via the NUWave-Guest network. Library databases and ebooks are not yet available to Mills College alumnae. Computing and printing are limited to current students, staff, and faculty only.
