Can I reserve a room?
Beginning January 6, 2025, Snell Library rooms can be reserved using the LibCal room booking platform.
During Snell Library’s service desk hours, the following types of spaces are available for reservation:

- Group study rooms that can be reserved by all students on the lower level, first, second and fourth floors.
- Individual study rooms on the second and fourth floor that can be reserved by all students.
- Silent individual study rooms on the fourth floor
- Group study rooms on the third floor reserved for graduate and doctoral students.

Room Booking Policies
- Study rooms in Snell Library can be booked up to 1 week in advance.
- Reservations can be made for up to 3 hours at a time and no more than 3 hours a day.
- A student can make no more than 3 room reservations per week.

Second Floor
- The Research & Teaching Hub.
- Group study rooms that can be booked by all enrolled students.
- Recording Studios
- Buzzy Booths: sound-proof booths for calls of all kinds.
- All Gender Restrooms
- Open study space
Third Floor
- A Graduate Study Room (Room 320) with silent study space for graduate students.
- Graduate group study rooms that can be reserved by graduate students located inside 320.
- Centers for Digital Scholarship
- Buzzy Booths: sound-proof booths for calls of all kinds.
- All Gender Restrooms
- Open study space
Fourth Floor
- Individual study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students
- Group study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students
- Silent Study (Room 490) accessible 24 hours for all members of the Northeastern Community: no talking, phones and devices silenced
- Silent Individual study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students.
- Buzzy Booths: sound-proof booths for calls of all kinds.
- Lactation room
