Room Booking Policies

  • Study rooms in Snell Library can be reserved up to 1 week in advance.
  • Reservations can be made for up to 3 hours at a time for group study rooms and up to 2 hours at a time for individual study rooms.
  • A student can make no more than 4 room reservations per week, and no more than 7 hours per day.

What Types of Spaces Are Available?

Lower Level

First Floor

  • Group study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students.
  • Equator Coffees coming soon!
  • Information Technology Services’ (ITS) Tech Bar
  • Open study space

Newly Renovated Third Floor

  • Group study rooms that will be able to be reserved by all enrolled graduate students.
  • Buzzy Booths: sound proof booths for calls of all kinds
  • All Gender Restrooms
  • Bulletin Board space for flyers
  • Open study space

Fourth Floor

  • Individual study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students
  • Group study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students
  • Silent Study (Room 490) accessible 24 hours for all members of the Northeastern Community: no talking, phones and devices silenced
  • Silent Individual study rooms that can be reserved by all enrolled students.
  • Buzzy Booths: sound-proof booths for calls of all kinds.
  • Lactation room
  • Bulletin Board space for flyers
  • All Gender Restrooms
  • Open study space
