Nighttime Safety Escort

Northeastern’s Public Safety Division provides an on-campus personal safety escort service for the Boston campus, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. To request a ride, call the Northeastern University Police at (617) 373-2121. Tell them your name, Northeastern ID number, exact location, and destination. See the Northeastern Police Safety Escort services website for more information and service restrictions.

Public Safety also provides an off-campus shuttle escort from Snell Library to return to your off-campus apartment between 5:00 pm and 6:00 am. The RedEye shuttle is free and provides drop off service to locations within two miles of the center of campus. To use the RedEye shuttle, students MUST book a ride in advance using the RedEye App OR in person at the RedEye dispatch center, located in the Northeastern Security office inside the Ruggles substation.

Instructions and details about these services are available at Northeastern’s Public Safety website.
