Recording Studios
The Recording Studios will be closing on December 15th, 2023 as part of the Snell renovation project. The Studios will reopen in the Fall Semester, 2024. Studio staff will remain available to assist you with your recording and post-production questions.
For helpful teaching and learning support use the Studios’ Digital Media Toolkit. Faculty may collaborate with the Studios across the curriculum to help plan and implement media-based assignments and teach skills. See our Teaching with the Recording Studios Remotely page for more information.
Need to borrow recording equipment? We have a small inventory of audio recording, photography, and video equipment to lend (view equipment for loan [PDF]). Please send your requests to [email protected]. To book equipment to borrow, please use this link: Equipment Catalog

Project & Consultation Support
Studios staff welcome the opportunity to assist you with your media project. Please submit your project and support needs in advance using this form. If you have a general question about your project, write to us at [email protected]

Podcast Support
The Studios support podcast production, including help designing class assignments, providing in-class instruction, and connecting faculty with experts on developing podcasts. Teaching with the Recording Studios Remotely
The Northeastern University Library’s Recording Studios offers opportunities for learning best practices in media production from basic through advanced levels.
