Library help is available to the entire Northeastern community: Boston campus, online and all regional campuses, New College of the Humanities, and Northeastern alumni.

We can help you with:
- Finding appropriate resources for your projects and assignments, including articles, data and statistics, media, archival and primary sources, and more.
- Choosing and using library databases effectively
- Brainstorming research strategies
- Understanding citation systems and setting up a citation manager
- Accessing Northeastern's online and print collections
- Requesting items through Interlibrary Loan
- Referring you to the right specialist, whether in the library or beyond

Subject librarians and specialists
For in-depth one-on-one or small group support, by email or by appointment:
- Find your subject librarian, who specializes in research in your major or academic program
- Meet our archivist for learning about the history of Northeastern and its surrounding communities
- Our data analytics and visualization specialist assists with data structuring and effective charts and graphs
- Our data management librarian supports for data-intensive teaching, research, and scholarship activities including data management plans
- Our GIS (Geographic Information Systems) specialist, helps plan and carry out geographic or mapping projects
- A media specialist can help you plan and work with audio and video recordings and podcasts
We are happy to answer questions from visitors and members of the public. While access to some of our facilities, online collections, and services may be limited, we will be happy to refer you to availble resources.
