Persons with Disabilities

We are dedicated to providing equal access and services to all members of the Northeastern community.

Building Accessibility

Snell Library is wheelchair-accessible from the front entrance.  Elevators, restrooms and water fountains on all floors of Snell Library are accessible.

Borrowing Help

  • Proxy borrowing service is available to patrons with disabilities. This service allows you to designate another person as your "proxy" who could then check out materials on your behalf. Please contact the Snell Library Help & Information Desk or complete the Proxy Borrowing Form.
  • Staff at the Help & Information Desk will help you retrieve materials from the stacks. You may arrange to have materials ready for pick up by an agreed upon time, within 24 hours notice (Monday-Friday). Call 617-373-8778 or email borrow [at] northeastern.libanswers.comIf you require extended borrowing time, inform staff when you are checking out materials.
  • If you experience access issues with resources licensed by the library, such as ejournals and databases, report a problem here.
