The library has added two new streaming media vendors to its service model:

Kanopy offers access to 26,000+ interdisciplinary titles, including award-winning collections from PBS, BBC, Criterion Collection, Media Education Foundation, foreign films, and more. Kanopy adds new content on a regular basis. All videos come with public performance rights.

To facilitate teaching, Kanopy videos can be streamed and projected in classrooms, embedded in authenticated web pages, and watched by unlimited simultaneous viewers. They can be played on any device anytime anywhere.

Swank Digital Campus gives students the flexibility of viewing course-assigned feature films in and outside the classroom. Snell Library has licensed eXistenZ, Social Network and No Country For Old Men for one year. Because these titles come without public performance rights, they cannot be viewed for club/student activities use.

To license a Swank title for your class, please review the Swank Digital Campus for titles and contact your subject librarian to arrange a license.

To locate other media collections, go to the library’s A-Z Database index and select “Video and Audio” from the “Type” pull down menu and click on “Apply.”  You may search by titles and keyword in Scholar OneSearch
