Request an item from the Remote Annex

New Print Requesting Information for Spring 2021 

For the health and safety of our staff and patrons and to create more room for socially distanced study space, all print materials have been moved to the Remote Annex facility. To request an item located in the Snell Library Remote Annex:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to your Scholar OneSearch account
  2. Click the "Request" link under the item you need and submit the form
  3. We'll send an email when items are ready, including instructions for contactless pickup. Items will be made available at the library Hub, just ahead and to your right as you enter the building

Note: While we are resuming print requesting from the Remote Annex, there will be some restrictions as we implement safe processing practices:

  •  You must be able to pick the item up in-person at Snell Library; we are unable to ship items to patrons
  •  Materials will already be checked out to your account when you come to pick them up. Items will be held on the pickup shelf for 30 days. All patrons are usually able to renew materials up to three times
  •  While a quick turnaround time is a priority, please keep in mind that quarantining periods, staffing limits, and delivery schedules will affect this: please anticipate 1-4 week delivery period
  •  We will not be accepting requests for items that we have access to digitally, including through HathiTrust
