Permitted Uses. Authorized Users are permitted to print or download reasonable portions of the Licensed Information for their own educational purposes, including use for academic reserves and coursepacks. Authorized Users may, in connection with their educational purposes, on an occasional and irregular basis, provide insubstantial portions of the Licensed Information to non-authorized users (including fulfillment of the Interlibrary Loan provisions of Section 108 of the US Copyright Revision Act of 1976 and with the guidelines developed by the National Commission on New Technological Uses of Copyrighted Works (CONTU Guidelines), or in scholarly works, articles, memoranda, reports and presentations provided that (i) these insubstantial portions are only made available in print or by secure electronic means to a limited number of individuals and (ii) Authorized Users may not delete copyright notices from EIU and the Publishers and original source attribution whenever providing any portions of the Licensed Information to any other persons.
Prohibited Uses. The Client and the Authorized Users are not permitted, directly or indirectly, to allow any other person to use or share their password(s). ... Any breach of this restriction may result in termination of the Client's (and all Authorized Users') access to the Site. Except as permitted...above...no portion of the Licensed Information may be systematically or regularly reproduced or stored in or transmitted to any other publicly-accessible web site, newsgroup, mailing list, or electronic bulletin board, or regularly or systematically stored in electronic or print form, without the prior written consent of EIU.
Any use of the Licensed Information not specifically permitted ...is expressly prohibited, except that no term or provision of this contract shall be interpreted to limit or restrict the rights of the Client and its Authorized Users, including fair use rights, provided by U.S. Copyright and other applicable intellectual property law.
