Guest access to Snell Library

Due to ongoing library renovations, Snell Library access is limited to current Northeastern University students, faculty, and staff with a valid Husky Card.

Library privileges: accounts and borrowing

  • Northeastern students, faculty and staff can borrow electronic items using their Northeastern or NCH credentials via Scholar One Search, the library’s catalog. They can also check out physical items with a current, valid Husky card at the Help & Information desk located on the first floor of Snell Library.
  • Visiting scholars can register for borrowing privileges using the Library Privileges form, or they can visit the Help and Information Desk in person with a valid Husky Card to register for a library account. Please bring a letter of offer from the university.
  • Access to Snell Library is open to members of the public who demonstrate a specific need to use its resources in person. Visit Northeastern University’s Policy on Snell Library Public Access for more information.
