The Lost and Found is located at the Help and Information Desk on level 1 of Snell Library. Items may be dropped off and retrieved during regular service hours.
The items listed below are turned over to the Northeastern Public Safety Division daily. Public Safety will contact owners when possible. They may be picked up at the Northeastern University Police Department - 716 Columbus Avenue Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Such items include:
Items other than those listed above are kept at the Help and Information Desk on level 1 of Snell Library for 30 days, after which they may be discarded or donated to charity. Food and liquids, and any items deemed hazardous, are discarded immediately.
Claiming Lost Items:
To claim an item at the Lost and Found, please describe the item and the approximate date the item was lost as closely as possible.
The Library is not responsible for the condition and care of lost items.
