Request a Workshop

Instructors may submit a request for customized class instruction via myNEU:

  • Log in to myNEU
  • Select the "Library" tab (Graduate students go to "Self-Service")
  • Click on "Library instruction request"

You may also contact a subject librarian or digital media specialist directly to discuss your instruction needs.

Please note:

  • Your instruction request is not confirmed until you hear from a librarian.
  • Depending on the nature of the instruction, we may need two weeks or more advance notice to prepare for your class.
  • Student attendance must be mandatory for library instruction sessions.

More Info

Library sessions are most effective when students have a research assignment or project with specific learning outcomes. See Planning Effective Library Assignments for suggestions.

Library sessions for Advanced Writing in the Disciplines (ENG U301 through U306) and first-year English (ENG U101, U102, U111) are pre-scheduled at the beginning of the semester.
