Beginning in 2008, Northeastern theses and dissertations are freely available online in IRis, a digital archive that collects, manages, preserves, and shares the intellectual output and historical record of Northeastern University. They are also part of the Proquest Dissertations and Theses at Northeastern database.
Prior to 2008, hard copies of Northeastern theses and dissertations are located in the University Archives and Special Collections department, located in room 92 at the Snell Library. They can be viewed in Archives reading room during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. These materials cannot be checked out, however a scanning station is available for use at no cost. For more information, please visit the University Archives and Special Collections web page.
