Researcher Services

Researcher Services supports the work of faculty, research scientists, and graduate students within the scholarly conversation and the research lifecycle. Core staff are:

We work closely with subject librarians, and we can connect researchers with other library services such as GIS and data visualization.

We can help you:

Elevate the visibility and impact of your research

  • Enable simpler sharing of and access to research outputs, including those that fall outside the typical publication cycle — e.g. data, code, white papers
  • Facilitate the creation of unique identifiers for researchers (ORCIDs) and research outputs (DOIs)
  • Produce and distribute materials via our digital publishing program

Fulfill funding agency requirements for your data and research outputs

Manage the details of your research and publishing process

  • Provide support in negotiating author contracts, obtaining permissions for using others’ work, and making fair use determinations
  • Advise newer authors such as graduate students on publication venues
  • Advise on data management approaches to streamline research workflows
  • Provide support for online collaboration tools (in development)
