Join us for a lunchtime screening of Destination East Boston, a feature-length documentary that explores the community activism surrounding the impact that Boston Logan International Airport has had on the environmental safety, health and quality of life of communities in East Boston.   

Special Guest: Magdalena Ayed, Founder and Director of a new environmental advocacy organization in East Boston called The Harborkeepers.  She also directed Destination: East Boston, a film made jointly with her brother Lucas La Battaglia, a documentary filmmaker and co-produced by activists Chris Marchi and Gail Miller of Air, Inc.  Magdalena’s mission is to ensure that the voices of all East Bostonians are heard in conversations around the future of the neighborhood.

 

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served.
