Integrating Course Content and Real-World Skills Through Authentic Projects

Authentic projects can be an effective means of moving students from theory to practical application, providing them with opportunities to integrate disciplinary knowledge and real-world skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. In this workshop intensive, participants will learn strategies for analyzing course content in order to identify relevant projects that achieve course learning outcomes and create impactful learning experiences. We will also examine methods assessment of skills. Breakfast will be provided.
