Use NUCat, the Library Catalog

NUCat is the library's catalog that provides information on what the Northeastern University Libraries own and license.

Use NUCat when you need

  • a book or link to e-book at Northeastern's libraries, including the Snell, African-American Institute, Marine Science Institute, and Law Libraries
  • a video or audio recording at Northeastern's libraries
  • federal government publications at Northeastern's libraries (Note: there are also other sources for this type of material)
  • to know if Northeastern subscribes to a particular journal, newspaper or other serial
  • a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation written by a Northeastern student
  • to check the course reserves for your class

myNUCat

The myNUCat feature allows you to: 

  • renew books
  • request holds on books checked out to other borrowers
  • set up preferred searches and lists
  • log in to licensed resources.
