Searching and Viewing Theses and Dissertations

Full texts of Northeastern University dissertations and theses from 2008 until present are electronically available through Current Research @NU (available to registered NU users only), and Digital Repository Service (available to all users).

Master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations are cataloged and searchable in Scholar OneSearch. Catalog records for dissertations from 2008 until present include links to electronic copies of dissertations in Digital Repository Service.

Hard copies of theses and dissertations are located in the University Archives and Special Collections Department, 92 Snell Library. They can be viewed in the Archives' reading room during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Theses and dissertations cannot be checked out. A scanning station is available in the reading room, so patrons may make partial copies of dissertations and theses at no cost.

Over 2 million dissertations from North American universities published after 1980 are available in Proquest Digital Dissertations (available to current NU faculty, staff and students only).
